Talented trimmer Rich Santana of San Jose, California, recently demonstrated his design and fabrication skills on the Model A roadster owned by Senior Technical Editor Will Handzel of Circle Track Magazine. Santana, a protégé of Sid "The Stitcher" Shavers, had a hand in many of the fine interior creations to come out of the Bay Area in the past 10 years. Time and energy permitting, R&C will feature a cut-by-cut, stitch-by-stitch look at how Santana creates a folding top for a modern roaster. Now on his own, Santana will be available for full interior services and custom top upholstery.
