1933 Ford Roadster

Owner : Rich Boyd

If this roadster looks familiar, it's because it's been in Rod & Custom magazine more than a few times. This car belongs to Rich Boyd of Primedia fame. It has been the subject of many build articles and was a feature in Hot Rod magazine. The top was featured in a top article in R&C and after relocating to the gold country, Rich finished the car in time for the Grand National Roadster Show in '99. Boyd belongs to the LA Roadsters club and has enjoyed many miles in this car. It includes a custom covered dash, rumble seat, and interior covered in Mercedes Tex vinyl and Mercedes velour carpet. The inserts on the panels and seat are from perforated matching vinyl. These pictures are also showing the hand-built, removable, foldable top covered in Stayfast material. The light weight bows are hand formed from aluminum tube. The top collapses for easy storage in the trunk.
